Good Idea: Budget iPhone
A rumour has circulated the internet with speculation that the latest iPhone release could be a budget iPhone, or at least a budget iPhone is going to be released alongside the latest iPhone. With the Apple market on smart phones shrinking, Apple plans to attack a market where Nokia and Samsung have long dominated with their cheaper handsets, as opposed to the top of the range iPhones. With the creation of the "budget" iPhone, Apple hopes to break into the growing markets in India and China who are unable to afford the latest phone but are increasingly interested in smart phone capabilities. Not only that but iPhone has also been undercut by Samsung in all of it's latest releases with the latest Galaxy ranging from 200-300 cheaper than the latest iPhone, and with the Galaxy S4 $600, the pressure is on Apple to either give consumers a reason why they should fork over more money for a similar phone, or lower the price of the phone to be competitive against the Samsung phones which are very similar in their technical specs as the iPhone, and becoming increasingly more so.
