8. A Touch Of Glass

Don't drop your iPhone 8, whatever you do. Reports suggest Apple is returning to an all-glass design for the device's 10th anniversary.

In all fairness, it's unlikely to be the fragile beast that was the iPhone 4 and 4s, which threatened to crack if you plonked them on the table too hard.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a solid track record predicting Apple's release strategy, recently published a report which tipped them to go all-glass in 2017.

No doubt we're talking reinforced glass that has proved durable during extensive drop tests, because nobody wants a repeat of the iPhone 4 debacle.

There are arguments in favour of ditching aluminium for glass, such as better antenna reception and more wireless charging options. Plus all-glass phones look damn sexy.
