iPhone vs Android: 10 Features iPhone 5 Must Have To Compete

1. iOS Re-design

This is a long shot, but hang on and listen to me! Yes, iOS is one of the most stable OSes out there. Yes, it has been buttery-smooth since inception (and never needed a separate college 'project' to make it buttery-smoother). Yes, the entire iOS ecosystem along with the OS X and iCloud is an awesome experience. And yes, Apple seems to have bigger plans in integrating iOS and OS X, plans which are probably beyond our understanding. But, it's been 5 years since we have been scrolling through and tapping on those famous, bubbled up, squarish icons. 5 long years man! Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. I love iOS in all its glory. In fact, I don't feel that there is any need for Apple to forcefully engineer a change in their UI. With Steve Jobs no more, I don't think that the new management team would even want to take a risk in fiddling with the iOS experience. And I do respect that. But. How do you expect a person who has been an iPhone or an iPad user all this while to be excited about the new UI, which sadly looks the same. If he was to buy the new iPhone, he would have to ignore those voices in the head which tell him that the new iPhone is just a hardware upgrade on the previous one. And such users are aplenty! So from the perspective of such long-time iOS users, I consider iOS re-design as an add-on change that we imagine could be implemented by the next version of the iPhone. Imagination (Newton's) invented gravity after all!
