6. Improved Camera
We all loved the camera on the iPhone 4S. It was the best camera on a phone at the time of its launch. It still is an amazing camera lest the editing options (read Instagram-like filters). However, within 4 months of its launch, we realized that the world was never enough! First came the Samsung Galaxy SII with a 8MP camera, which many proclaimed did not beat the iPhone 4S's camera quality. The SII was then followed by a stream of upgrades to notable smartphone cameras, some of them include HTC Amaze 4G (what the hell happened to this phone!), Droid Bionic, HTC One series, Samsung Galaxy Nexus (the only 5MP upgrade) and the Samsung Galaxy SIII. Considering the advanced photo capturing and editing features available on the cameras of Samsung Galaxy SIII and the HTC One X, the new iPhone will definitely (definitely!) feature upgrades to both the camera optics and the camera chip-set. Whether it'll be an improved 8MP shooter or a 12 MP shooter with Full HD video support is not the point. The point is that the camera will need to be better than those currently in the market. (Psst psst, has anyone been following the Apple-Lytro talks?)
