Joe Rogan Experience: 10 Early Gem Podcasts You Might Have Missed
2. Mayhem Miller #31
These days, Joe has a separate show for showcasing guests from the world of MMA, but back in 2010, Jason 'Mayhem' Miller made history by being the first of many professional fighters to feature on the JRE.
Mayhem was enjoying one of the most successful stints of his career at that time, having narrowly missed out on capturing the Strikeforce Middleweight Championship in a fight with Jake Shields just months earlier while also serving as the host of the hugely popular MTV show Bully Beatdown.
The UFC veteran's debut on the show in 2010 would mark the first of three appearances Mayhem would make on the show, discussing everything from the fight world all the way to their opinions on menstruation.
The JRE was just different back then...
Miller even prophetically talks about what the future could bring for the podcast, telling Joe he foreseed the UFC commentator becoming even more popular in the years to come.
