Jurassic World VelociCoaster At Universal Orlando Resort Review: 7 Ups And 1 Down
6. The Queue
Speaking of the queue, Jurassic World VelociCoaster has a great one.
Going through the line there's plenty to look at. You see a rather impressive sculpture of Jurassic World's four raptors entangled with a scale model of the coaster you're about to face.
Later you'll be able to see your fellow riders race by as the accelerate up to 70mph chased by raptors.
Further in the queue line you'll get up close to two rather vicious raptors. Luckily the pair are secure. Even though you know they are animatronics, Echo and Delta are eerily real. The raptors can be found outside in their paddock whilst you are on the coaster too. They come ferociously close to you, so keep an eye out as you zoom around.
One amazing thing about the queue is the lockers. Usually you need to store your bags and phones in the lockers before you get in the queue, meaning you don't get to capture all the fun things you see as you wait your turn. The lockers at Jurassic World VelociCoaster open on both sides meaning when you exit the ride you collect your belongings without interfering with those waiting to board. It also means the lockers can be stored closer to the entrance.
