4. Ronald Weasley
Strengths: Loyal, open-minded, easy-going. Weaknesses: Overly emotional, needy, immature. Post-Voldemort Life: Auror, co-manager of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. On the surface, Ron doesnt seem like the most effective guy to have on your team: he has a lot of bad ideas, hes not a particularly exceptional wizard, and he has a tendency to think too much with his heart and not enough with his head (which is sort of the opposite of Hermione). But what he doesnt have in raw skill, he makes up for in heart and intangibles. Hes Harrys best friend, and since that makes him the de facto brother of The Boy Who Lived, that makes him indispensable. Plus, Ron shines in small increments. He had that epic chess match in Book 1, he destroyed the Slytherin Horcrux in Book 7, and he managed to get into the Chamber of Secrets by imitating Parselmouth (okay, that was sort of silly on Rowlings part). As needy as Ron was, Harry needed him nearly as much, and that puts him comfortably in the Top 4.
