Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval has become a food festival over the years.

The food at Universal Studios Florida's Mardi Gras is usually inspired by Carnaval inspired food from around the world.

There's the classic Mardi Gras items that you have to have such as beignets and gumbo. After all it isn't Mardi Gras without po' boy sandwiches and king cake.

Universal Orlando Resort has made "International Flavors of Carnaval" an integral part of their food offerings. Last year Universal included dishes including Chana Masala, Shrimp Laksa and Chicken Coxinha.

Mardi Gras usually has food carts all around the park with pop-up bars in the New York area.

In the past Universal have offered a Food & Beverage Card and Lanyard, allowing guests to save money on the food they purchase in the park.

The Mardi Gras inspired food isn't just limited to the park. Often special food offerings are available all around the resort including donuts at Voodoo Donuts, a milkshake at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and delicious snacks at all their hotels.
