4. The Fun

Universal Studios Florida make sure that their Mardi Gras has as much fun as its New Orleans counterpart.

Throughout the event the streets of the New York area and beyond get adorned with colourful decorations. You see performers out and about dancing to the music and even handing out beads ahead of the parade (more on that later).

Last year the Tribute Store in the park also received a Mardi Gras makeover. Designed to resemble a float warehouse, there was glitter galore within the huge store. The Tribute Store has become a fan favourite as it is themed depending on what the parks are celebrating. Apart from its immersive decoration, the Tribute Store also provides the perfect place to grab any themed merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies and hats.

If the food from the stalls wasn't enough, then the Tribute Store also usually has even more sweet treats to enjoy too.
