Windows 10 Secrets You Need To Know About

8. You Can Record Your Finest Gaming Moments

Recording our gaming exploits and flaunting them to the world - or at least to our best friends - is a great way of immortalising game experiences, which can often feel all too fleeting. Windows 10 lets you do this without having to install anything. All you need is the Xbox app, but that comes pre-installed with Windows 10. You can not only record continuous game footage using the Windows 10 Game Bar, but can also the last 30 seconds of gameplay, making it easy to capture those those sublime moments that we all experience. Log into the Xbox app. Once you've done that, all you need to do is press Win+G during gaming sessions to bring up the Game Bar. Click 'Yes, this is a game' if asked. Click the red 'Record' circle to start recording, or the 'Record that' icon (next to the Xbox icon) to capture the last 30 seconds. The keyboard shortcut for 'Record that' is Win+Alt+G, which will instantly record the last 30 seconds without requiring you to do any clicking.
