Hollywood is known for its glitz and glamour, but for some actors, the journey to the big time is not at all glamourous.
While some of Hollywood’s biggest stars hit the ground running, others take years to find their breakout role. Having to settle for movies that they know will flop at the box office, in the hope that some agent will pluck them out of obscurity.
Alternatively, some of today’s biggest stars have popped in other well-known films in minor roles. It’s hard to imagine a world where names like Robert De Niro or Leonardo DiCaprio weren’t household names getting top billing on a movie.
