Mohamed Diame arrived from Wigan on a free in 2012. In an often lifeless West Ham team, Diame shone through and at times looked like the only player capable of making something happen. He carried West Ham in many games and we were looking at a potential new star man; and for nothing at all. His performances soon began to dwindle through fatigue and his inability to adapt to new positions and he faded away to sign for Hull City this year.
