10 Biggest MMA Stories Of 2014

8. T.J. Dillashaw Wins UFC Gold In Huge Upset

Make no mistake, months after it went down and at the end of 2014, T.J. Dillashaw's dominant win over Renan Barao is still the biggest upset win of 2014, and remains huge news. The win ended Barao's insane winning streak, devalued the ex-champ who had already been struggling to connect with the English speaking fan base, shocked everyone from fans to experts of the sport, and proved just how good Duane Ludwig and the Team Alpha male camp was. It also completely changed the face of the bantamweight division, and the end result will be a highly anticipated match-up between Dillashaw and former champion Dominick Cruz early in 2015.
