6. UFC/Reebok Uniform Deal
Could the desperation to improve things financially have led to the UFC signing an exclusive deal with Reebok for uniforms and fighter sponsorship? The promotion says it's all about getting the fighters paid, and that "almost all" of the money from their six-year deal with Reebok will go to fighters, but how much is "almost" and how long will it be before that changes? The deal is already being questioned by fighters who are losing external sponsors and are forced to take the Reebok deal if they want to remain in the UFC, and no exact numbers as to what fighters will earn have been released. Again, the jury is still out here.
