WRONG? It's not the most impactful lie anyone would have told in the NFL - there aren't any lives on the line here. But the most recent scandal to rear its head has been 'deflategate' after 11 of the 12 game balls used during the Patriots' AFC Championship game against the Colts were found to be deflated. The Wells Report that looked into the incident found that the balls had indeed been deflated, but despite denying all knowledge of the under-inflation, star QB Tom Brady was "at least generally aware" of what was happening. The media storm is still ongoing, but rumours are circulating that Brady could be suspended for a part of the 2015 season. Who knows what twists lie ahead, and whether any more information over Brady's involvement will come to light, but this certainly isn't the end of the matter.
