10 Most Controversial Goal Celebrations Ever

9. Craig Bellamy (vs Barcelona, 2007)

Known for one of the most 'fiery' of personalities in the Premier League, Craig Bellamy has never been one to shy away from controversy. In 2007, ahead of a crucial Champions League game against Barcelona, the then-Liverpool man attacked teammate John Arne Riise with a golf club on a drunken night out in the Algarve, causing Riise to sustain bruises to his legs. The dispute reportedly arose because Riise refused to join in on signing karaoke and, days later, Bellamy was again on the back pages of the tabloids for all the wrong reasons after scoring against Barca, and mocking the incident with his Liverpool colleague by swinging an imaginary golf club.
