The coolest football club in Europe could only come from Germany. From their all brown kit, to their progressive politics and their unofficial use of the Skull and Crossbones as their badge; St. Pauli’s coolness comes from the fact that they just don’t care what anyone else thinks. Situated in a notoriously poor area of Hamburg, St. Pauli’s fans were originally a mix of working class industrial workers and local artists; the club is a hodge podge of rebels and anarchists.
