10 Deadliest Strike Partnerships In Premier League History
9. Dwight Yorke And Andy Cole
Another legendary strike pair of Manchester United, Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole actually played by each other's side for multiple seasons, contrary to most of the strike combos on the list.
However, the pair enjoyed their most productive days together in 1999/20 season, when both Yorke and Cole were in devastating form.
With 20 goals and 19 goals respectively, neither actually finished as the league's top scorer, but they certainly were crucial to the Red Devils retaining the Premier League title.
They were absolutely lethal upfront, and no defence was stoic enough to prevent them from scoring. Soon after, both left Old Trafford just a year apart and reunited at Blackburn Rovers, although the move failed to reproduce the magic.
