A third round draft pick out of Notre Dame, Montana won two MVP awards and led the 49ers to four Super Bowls. Undefeated in all four, Montana was named Super Bowl MVP a record three times. Known for remaining calm and focused while under pressure, Montana led his teams to 31 come-from-behind victories in his career. In Super Bowl XXIII, he led his team on a 92 yard drive, to score the game winning touchdown with only 36 seconds remaining. A true playoff performer, Montana still holds several postseason records. His 45 touchdown passes are the best all time in the postseason. In four Super Bowl appearances, Montana threw 11 touchdown passes with zero interceptions. He finished his career with 40,551 yards and 273 touchdowns.
