3. Johnny Unitas - Baltimore Colts, San Diego Chargers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xv0KPj2U6o Setting the standard for all modern era quarterbacks, Johnny Unitas was easily the most dominant player of the '50's and '60's. Unitas was an extremely dominant passer, at a time when running ruled the game, and the rules weren't nearly as offensively friendly. He won four MVP awards and led the Colts to three NFL championship victories and one Super Bowl victory. He was selected for ten Pro Bowls, a record at the time. Unitas set numerous NFL records with his strong passing game. He was the first quarterback to throw for over 40,000 yards. He was also the first quarterback to throw for 30 touchdown passes, completing 32 touchdown passes in 1959. Johnny's greatest record was his streak of 47 consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass. Thought by many to be unbreakable, this record lasted for 52 years before finally being broken by Drew Brees.
