"He comes from Serbia, he'll f***ing murder ya... Nemanja!" It's the terrace chant for none other than Nemanja Vidic, of course, who's hard man status has been fully recognised and appreciated by fans throughout his eight trophy-laden years at Old Trafford. And for good reasons, too. Vidic has proven himself on the pitch and has shown he is not afraid to put his body on the line for the team. Take for example last season's game against Swansea. Chico Flores is about to let fly from the edge of the area and, without even thinking about it, Vidic throws his head towards the blast. That's dedication. On that occasion his eye-watering levels of bravery were not needed, as the danger passed, but there have been plenty of occasions where Vidic has felt the consequences of his actions, with the sight of him shedding blood on the field not at all that rare. Like Stam before him, everything about Vidic's appearance evokes fear. From the disjointed nose through to the thousand yard stare, the Serbian is definitely not one to be messed around with, and the thought of Stam and Vidic lining up at centre-back in a dream team scenario really is the stuff of nightmares.
