Back in May of 2013, then-Spurs players Aaron Lennon, Kyle Walker, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore were in a nightclub, sat at a VIP table being served jeroboams of vodka. Sitting at a nearby table, One Direction star Liam Payne was getting increasingly annoyed at their apparent treatment of the waitress in question, as he believed they were teasing her a little too much. Approaching the players' table, Payne (who apparently boxes a little bit) apparently said "What the **** is going on!?" which resulted in a defensive Aaron Lennon squaring up to him. Fortunately, friends managed to calm things down and Payne returned to his table, saving the pair from serious embarrassment and saving Aaron Lennon from a lifetime of abuse from millions of "Directioners".
