10 High-Profile Spurs Bust-Ups

8. David Bentley & Harry Redknapp

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2VCyWLh2og Back in 2009, Spurs had a behind-closed-doors friendly match against Grays Athletic. Spurs won the match 5-2, but Harry Redknapp was said to be less than pleased with David Bentley's attitude towards the game, as the former Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers man was said to be "taking the mickey" throughout the match and "just back-heeling and toe-punting the ball." Such was the level of complacency and disrespect shown by Bentley in the match, he and Redknapp had a huge training ground bust-up that led to the player almost being booted out of White Hart Lane - and he never really recovered from it, failing to make any kind of real impact on the first team, being loaned out several times, and finally retiring as he'd lost any love he had for the game. Of course, this famous moment on live television can't have helped matters either.
