Realistically, Spurs aren't going to make it into the top four of the Premier League this season. Sure, it's not completely out of the question, but the fact is that there are at least four teams who are either performing better than Spurs or who are simply better than Spurs. Moreover, there are several teams who are currently at around the same level with Spurs who will be competing for whatever position the Lilywhites ultimately finish in. Therefore, the club's best hope for a Champions League spot next season is to win the Europa League. There isn't a single team left in the competition who Spurs aren't capable of beating on their day, so there's every chance it could happen and Mauricio Pochettino would do well to put a focus on the competition.
