Unlike most of the fights on this list, 'Marvelous' Marvin Hagler vs. Thomas Hearns wasn't a fight that developed into a series of scraps. In fact, it only lasted eight minutes. However, within those eight minutes both men produced the type of boxing that words cannot describe. From the moment the bell was rung, Hagler and Hearns threw caution to the wind and went after each other, fists flying all over place yet landing with devastating accuracy. There was no way these two could keep up that sort of devastating pace and have it go to the scorecards, and in the third round Hagler managed to land the finishing blows and finally knock Hearns out with a vicious combination.
