The first Super Bowl, between The Kansas City Chiefs and The Green Bay Packers was held at Los Angeles Coliseum on January 15th, 1967.

The stadium had a maximum capacity of 94,000. Only 61,946 tickets were sold - there were just over 32,000 empty seats. On top of that, all broadcast footage of the game was taped over by the networks to save money, (a common practice at the time.)

It's almost as if nobody really cared about one of the most defining moments in sports history!
