The Bears have their franchise quarterback in Jay Cutler, who was there in Denver before Tebow got drafted by the Broncos. There's no way that Tebow would ever challenge Cutler for the starting job, but as a backup, he could have been a possibility. But the Bears are even saying no thanks.
As @mikecwright reported - #Bears have no interest in Tebow. Second source went on to say #Bears have "never" had interest in the QB.
It's funny that the Bears are saying no, because three years ago, new Chicago head coach Mark Trestman saw value in Tebow and thought he could thrive in the right NFL environment.
I believe in the right environment Tim Tebow will figure this out. He doesnt have explosive arm strength, but he has more than adequate arm strength to throw the ball in the NFL and make all the throws. I saw him do something totally different in seven or eight days.
Yet, three years later, Trestman is passing, just like many other teams and coaches are.
