Shaq Thompson was the Carolina Panthers' first round selection and could actually be accused of being too versatile, with his best position still up for debate between some fans. He's a linebacker, but has been known to play in pretty much every other position at one time or another during his time at college. He's got talent, but in the NFL, talent and versatility won't be enough to cut it. The Panthers will need to bed him into their system in a consistent spot to allow Thompson a chance to adapt. If he's still being deployed wherever there's a hole, he could be exposed by NFL veterans around the league.
