5. José Bosingwa

The right-back had just won the Champions League with Chelsea after playing out of his skin in the thrilling win over Bayern Munich in 2012, but his career soon headed in a different direction when he moved to QPR following the end of his contract with the Blues shortly after. His time at Rangers was embroiled with controversy, with the fullback refusing to sit on the bench for a league game against Fulham before he again angered fans and players alike when he was seen on camera smiling as QPR were relegated from the topflight in 2013. That year he was moved on to Trabzonspor and those heady memories of the Allianz Arena must seem like a distant memory to the Portugal international now.
