10 Players Who Should Regret Turning Down Arsenal

1. Marouane Fellaini

The Belgian international left Everton to join Manchester United in a £27.5 million deal on transfer deadline day - but only, he claimed, after the Gunners expressed an interest in taking him to the Emirates. "I knew United were interested in signing me - just as Arsenal were," he told The Sun. "But it was United who snapped me up. David Moyes did everything to get me. I leapt at the chance to work with Moyes. I spent some fantastic times with him at Everton." And so Fellaini joined with his former Everton manager David Moyes at Old Trafford and after a very disappointing first season at the club, may follow David Moyes out again - and presumably for a lot less than United paid. At Everton he was a fan favourite, but at United he has become something of a pariah. Arsenal fans may be glad that they didn't eventually sign Fellaini, but he must be wondering 'what if?'.
