10 Players Who Will Rule Premier League In 2020/21

5. Christian Pulisic (Chelsea)

After four seasons playing at the highest level of German football with Borussia Dortmund and then a debut season in West London that showed plenty of promise, it's easy to forget that Christian Pulisic is still only 21 years old.

The young American began the 2019/20 campaign with a couple of fitness and adjustment issues in Frank Lampard's side, but came on remarkably well post-lockdown. His goals against Manchester City and Arsenal in the FA Cup were a testament to the way he plays his best football, breaking with pace, using his low centre of gravity to evade challenges and curling two sublime finishes past the keeper. It's easy to see the Eden Hazard comparisons, and Pulisic's improvements over the course of the season has already seen him replace the likes of Willian and Pedro as one of Chelsea's indispensable talisman for next season.

Pulisic's 9 goals and 4 assists from 25 appearances in the league already represents his best ever tally over the course of his career, and his 3.26 shots and 1.55 key passes per ninety are already the best hauls of any player currently in the Chelsea squad. With his injuries (hopefully) behind him and confidence beginning to surge, the Chelsea front line could be seriously mouth-watering throughout 2020/21, with Pulisic potentially acting as the jewel in the crown for Frank Lampard's project.
