10 Premier League Transfers That Would Change Everything
2. Paul Pogba
A move back to the Premier League would really stick it to United. Who doesn’t want to see that? The split with United was acrimonious, and there was concern that he was just another over-paid, over-hyped young player mouthing off and making an arse of himself (i.e. Raheem Sterling)
Pogba, at only 22, proved that he can back up big words with big performances however. Now one of the most sought after midfielders in the world, he has his best years ahead of him and has just bagged his third Serie A title in a row and this season his first Coppa Italia.
This would be the ideal point for him to move on to a bigger challenge, and one could certainly argue that the point he has been proving so successfully to United ever since his departure would be even more thunderous if it were made, say, in a sky blue shirt.
