On Friday afternoon, a small group of Newcastle United supporters will get an opportunity tens of thousands more would love to have - to be able to walk into the club's training ground. Unfortunately, this is not necessarily the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity this group of fans would have envisioned - as it will be to meet head coach John Carver in a bid to resolve their differences. A row broke out on the touchline between Carver and the supporters at St James' Park on Saturday during the 3-2 defeat to Swansea City. In a bid to put this episode behind him and the club, however, Carver has made the noble move of inviting these supporters to the club's training ground. Not only does this give Carver a chance to explain exactly what he is trying to do to save the club from relegation following their seventh straight Premier League loss, but it also offers up an opportunity to the supporters.
