10 Ridiculously Successful UFC Stars With Boring Fight Styles

2. Jon Fitch

This is a man who Dana White absolutely could not wait to boot out of his company due to the monotous, mired-in-quicksand feel of watching him hug his opponents like he was trying to fight off hypothermia. Fitch's UFC record is an impressive 14-3-1, but his boss was so frustrated with his inability to finish that he was basically fighting for his job every time he stepped in the cage, because as soon as that third loss came (one of the three was against Georges St. Pierre in a title fight, ironically his best performance) he was jettisoned from the organization. That's because out of his 18 fights while under the Zuffa banner, 13 went to the judges. And the ones that did provide a finish were basically a gift of a mercy killing for the audience who had sat through what preceeded the endings. The former Purdue wrestler is very skilled at what he does, but unfortunately he's as good of an anesthesiologist as he is an MMA fighter.
