10 Ridiculously Successful UFC Stars With Boring Fight Styles

3. Michael Bisping

Here's a talented fighter who has fought some of the biggest names in each weight division he's competed in, yet with every few big wins comes a loss that pushes him back down the ladder. He's been "on the bubble" for a title shot for about five years now and isn't any closer than he was when the organization featured a much less talented roster. The problem is his approach. Michael Bisping is the MMA version of a substitute teacher: all busy work with no real substance. He moves around a lot, throws plenty of ineffective strikes and creates enough motion and delicate contact that people actually believe he's winning fights. But a close look at his record will show you that his only UFC finishes are over cans who were on their way back to the minor league circuit when Bisping beat them. There's not one impressive victory over a fighter of any note anywhere in his career. In fact, the only Bisping highlights have come from his mouth-either from him running it or being punched in it. It would be nice to see the talented UK competitor put all his tools together and realize his potential instead of continuing to unimpress by shadowboxing his way to decisions.
