In August 2015, Adebayor had his medical at Aston Villa and was even pictured in their shirt. However, Adebayor was waiting for a sign from God before putting pen to paper... The sign never came so the deal was called off. One can only assume that now Adebayor has signed for Palace, he must have got the nod from God. I don't want to go so far as to claim that God is a Palace fan because, let's be honest, He could just as easily be a Brighton fan, sending them one of the most notoriously difficult players in Premier League history to try and mess things up completely. Let's hope not; no one likes a Brighton fan.
