10 Things We Learned From UFC Fight Night 46

5. Brad Pickett Had The Wrong Game Plan

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aw2Zgl4AHFk Dana White said exactly this after Saturday's event: Brad Pickett just didn't have a good game plan for Ian McCall's style. McCall moves a lot. He's quick. He's a hit and run fighter. Not in a boring way - he usually puts on exciting fights - but Pickett's approach, which was basically trying to live up to his moniker and one-punch McCall to the mat, just wasn't the way to go. Pickett has the potential to go far at 125lbs, and a loss of McCall, who is ranked in the top 5 of the division, won't hurt him much. Pickett's a name fighter and fun to watch, but he's going to need to switch up his game plan a little against the fleet-footed flyweights.
