I'm getting all of these negative points out of the way to make room for the positives (there really are some...) and while it's very rare that I completely give up on a player, Jack Rodwell has tipped me over the edge. Forget his injury record, forget the fact that he's barely been available to play, focus on his actual performances. The one-time Everton starlet is nothing short of anonymous on the field. He's a big man who can be wrestled off the ball by diminutive opponents with ease, and he's a defensive-minded player who can't tackle without picking up numerous bookings. However, the worst part is that Rodwell doesn't even make an effort anymore. He's constantly yards off the pace and might as well be sitting in the stands watching the game pass him by. It's highly unlikely we'll see Rodwell leave in January, but he should be an absolute last resort when it comes to forming a midfield.
