10 Things Tiger Woods Wants You To Forget

1. Infidelity Scandal And Public Fallout Of 2009

Tiger Woods Scandal Well, we have come to the top spot on the list and it is about time to talk about the catalyst for the falling apart of Tiger€™s game in 2009. The infidelity scandal began with what seemed like a plain-Jane affair that would likely result in the end of Tiger€™s marriage but what unfolded was an almost double-life of the golf superstar that led to the collapse of many areas of his life. It was eventually made clear by various parties that Tiger Woods had extramarital affairs with over a dozen women. The shock of Tiger€™s now tarnished reputation as compared to the squeaky clean image that he had maintained up until that point caused him to lose sponsorship deals from Accenture, AT&T, Gatorade, and General Motors which would see his share value drop literally billions of dollars. While Tiger maintained several of his sponsorship deals this could have been the end of his image. Since this scandal he has worked hard to rebuild his image and has done well to do so thus far. He maintains a positive relationship with US Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn and continues to work on his personal life and his life as a father. Tiger will certainly want the public to do their best to forget the year that his personal life fell apart and refocus their attention on the fact that he is playing great golf when he is not injured and will soon win more major championships.
