But Newcastle United should have signed both Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew. No question. Both players' respective form so far this season proves that. Try and tell me that neither of them wouldn't have added something to The Magpies' game... Hindsight is a wonderful thing but the fact that both players didn't demand a transfer fee and were available on a free surely meant that forking out that type of money on their pay packets was justifiable.
