If you want to go the extra mile, and have the time, be sure to check out everything Fight Week has to offer when it comes to UFC events. That includes meet and greets with fans, and the weigh-ins.

When it comes to the weigh-ins, most UFC events have a ceremonial weigh-in open to the public the evening of the day prior to the fight. That's the one you see on TV, YouTube, and the like - a horde of screaming fans cheering and jeering as their favorite fighters step on the scale.

Yet those are all for show. The actual weigh-ins are held earlier in the day, usually kicking off at 9AM. They're not always the most accessible, but dedicated fans can get up early and check them out. More often than not, they're not held at the venue, but rather whatever hotel the UFC has set up shop in. In Atlantic City, a few die-hard fans showed up to snap pictures of fighters, and it's a far better view, since it's just the media, athletic commission, and UFC reps otherwise.
