2. Go International
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OCslP5aEMU Bellator has soundly beat the UFC at signing prospects out of Eastern Europe thus far... so why the hell haven't they gone there? Well, Bellator has always operated on a budget. It's something Viacom likely appreciated. Whatever else you can say about Bjorn Rebney, he ran a tight ship. Bellator was profitable, from all accounts. However, sometimes you have to spend money to make money. Thus far, Bellator has run over 100 shows, but the only time they leave the U.S. is when they visit Ontario, up in Canada. That's not exactly much in the way of travel. And it's an easy sell, given how popular MMA is in Canada. Eastern Europe? Imagine doing a card in Russia with Vitaly Minakov headlining. The UFC has struggled to break into the Russian market, but they really want to go there. Why not beat them to the punch? Get down to Brazil as well. Hell, even the WSOF has branched out into Central America and Japan.
