10 Ways Scott Coker Can Improve Bellator To Compete With UFC

5. Pay The Undercard Fighters A Decent Wage

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9DjCejf84E&feature=youtu.be A lot gets made about pay scale in the UFC. The fact that some fighters make under $10,000 for a fight in the UFC is beyond asinine. Now consider that some undercard fighters in Bellator are making $500-$1000. Is it even worth it for some of them? Well, they're getting exposure, but that's regional circuit money. Hell, that's Bingo Hall money. Bellator needs to step in where the UFC has failed and set a minimum wage for fighters. It could snag a number of prospects from the clutches of the UFC by doing this. And it's affordable, too. It doesn't have to be huge money, but a $10,000 minimum won't set Viacom back all that far.
