10 Ways To Make The London 2012 Olympics More Exciting

4. Judo

Why it Sucks: Out of all the martial arts, Judo seems to be one of least useful against an actual opponent who isn€™t also using Judo. Even the name is slow (Judo means Gentle Way in Japanese) and while the actual Olympic Judo competition retains some of the excitement you€™d expect from a combat sport I can€™t help but feel like the simple inclusion of an x-factor would spice things up to no end. How to Make it More Exciting: The new Judo competition takes place on a bouncy castle and it€™s really that simple. Competitors attempt to beat each other with the same methods; it€™s just the results that€™d be different. Wildly different. You might think this is heavily disrespectful toward a noble and respected art form and you€™d most likely be right, but isn€™t that exactly what€™d make Bouncy Castle Judo so funny to watch? Potential Issues: It might be a difficult to properly judge the combatants as they competed and it might even be impossible to ever properly perform Judo moves on an active bouncy castle. That said it would surely be worth a try, for the sheer comedy factor alone.
