10 Worst Sports Jerseys Of All Time
4. Newcastle United, Away Kit (2009-10)
2009 was a harsh year for the Magpies. The club was relegated to the second tier for the first time since 1994 after one of the most gutless performances in Premier League history at Villa Park.
To make matters worse, kit makers Adidas decided to create a two toned yellow stripe away for the teams maiden Championship campaign. The kit was nicknamed the 'custard cream kit' and was so disliked by Newcastle fans that it was almost immediately put on sale.
Of course, United's successive 2009-10 season meant that the kit is now a cult favourite on Tyneside.
