10 Worst Sports Jerseys Of All Time
5. Liverpool Third Kit (2013-14)
After years of playing in Adidas kits, Liverpool entered a £25 million a year contract with Warrior in 2012. The deal was a big coup for Warrior, who had almost exclusively made Lacrosse merchandise before the deal. After a first season of simple shirts, Warrior's lack of experience became obvious when in 2013 they announced a grotesque lineup of kits, none more disgusting that the purple, white and black third kit.
The season was successful for Liverpool, who finished 2nd on the back of Suarez's 31 goals, their joint-highest finish in the Premier League era. To many neutrals however their season will be remembered for two things, 'that' slip by Gerrard and the club having ugly, unnecessary (Liverpool didn't even play in Europe that year) third shirts.
Warrior's parent company New Balance have taken over Liverpool's kit deal, and so far haven't offended nearly as much as Warrior did with their designs.
