11 Reasons Spurs Fans Should Be Concerned

3. An Abundance Of Under-Performing Players

When it comes to most big clubs, they may go through blips and they may have some players who are specifically targeted for abuse due to poor performances - but Spurs have far too many supposedly big stars who consistently under-perform, which simply isn't good enough and will obviously be detrimental to their chances of doing well. Players like £26 million Roberto Soldado, £17 million Paulinho and an abundance of others like Vlad Chiriches, Emmanuel Adebayor, Andros Townsend, Ben Davies and Mousa Dembele simply aren't delivering the goods for the club. These are all international players who should be doing much better. Heck, even £30 million Erik Lamela is performing well below what he actually should be, despite a promising start to the season. Mauricio Pochettino needs to implement some superb man-management in order to get these players' confidence up, so that they can go out and perform week-in, week-out. So many players performing below the levels they're capable of is never good.
