Tottenham Hotspur had been linked to the Málaga playmaker since last summer. However, the young Spaniard was able to play Champions League football last season by staying at his team, helping them reach the quarter-finals before being
dramatically eliminated. This summer Manchester City were also interested in Isco but could not compete with Real Madrid. Tottenham failed to qualify for this seasons Champions League too but even if they had, Isco has decided to join one of the biggest football clubs in the world, in his own country.
