9. Your Club Will Ban Your Local Media To Stop Them Telling You What Is Really Happening
Then, arguably, after your club lifts the ban on your local media, they will control your local media to ensure that they don't publish anything that your club doesn't like the sound of. (We certainly don't know if that's the case but there have been plenty of instances that suggest it could be.) NCJ Media were banned after "The board said that their main issue was what it believes was an "unacceptably disproportionate level of coverage" given to the protest march which took place in November 2013." This meant the likes of Lee Ryder and Mark Douglas were given the unenviable task of keeping us up to date with goings on at the club with no direct access. How could that work? Thankfully, the ban was lifted a mere 14 months later.
