15 Problems Only A Golfer Would Understand

12. Guys Who Make You Putt Out From 6 Inches

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm6tTdn-P2Q There are times when putts have money riding on them or if there is a competition in progress when these putts need to be holed out. However, if there is nothing serious riding on a putt that is short enough to be made every time without fail, it is annoying to be told that it is not a gimme. There is an etiquette in golf that suggests that putts of a certain length are considered gimmes and yet some people still refuse to give them. This is annoying behaviour that slows the game down and putts unnecessary pressure on what should be just an enjoyable day off of work. Players should give the short putts and move on to the next hole with a focus on their own shots rather than on the short putts of their playing partners.

11. Guys Who Take 1000 Practice Swings For Each Shot

Jack 30 Rock Gif There is always room in golf to take by practice swing to make sure that the shot is going to go well. There is, however, a limit to how any practice swings your playing partners should take without being extremely annoying. Somewhere between the 5th and 10th practice swing for a routine 7-Iron the rest of the group start to lose the will to live. What is more, the chances are that in the list of practice swings there was probably one that was going to be a perfect shot and it ends up being wasted by hitting nothing but air. Even the pros do not take that many practice swings and they will agree that playing with people who overuse the practice swing allowance can be extremely tedious. The guy in the group who thinks he is Tiger Woods and is going to attempt a hooked punch shot from out of the pine needles is going to need more than a few practice swings to pull of the shot - he is probably going to need a miracle or he would not have ended up there in the first place.
